Mr. DeCicco's law practice focuses on computer issues, intellectual property and litigation.
Mr. DeCicco has been counsel in several highly litigated domain name
disputes. He has been asked by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
and National Arbitration Forum to serve on their respective panels of neutral
mediators and has served as an arbitrator in numerous UDRP domain disputes.
Mr. DeCicco has represented numerous clients regarding unauthorized
computer access and related offenses, both civilly and criminally.
Paul received his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and is
licensed to practice law in California, Texas and Colorado and many federal courts.
In addition to his law degree, Mr. DeCicco holds a B.A. in
philosophy/economics, and an M.B.A. from Boston University, with honors, concentrating in
corporate finance and information systems. He has also studied architectural design at the
Boston Architectural Center where he was a member of the faculty lecturing in photography
and aerial photography. Mr. DeCicco studied photography with masters
Philippe Halsman, Lisette Model and others, at the New School in N.Y.C.
and continues his interest in photography and printing.
Mr.DeCicco's business experience includes employment with Xerox Corporation
headquarters as a systems analyst/programmer, senior financial analyst, senior marketing
analyst (Office Systems Division - PC Product Planning) and software contracts
administrator (software licensing).
He was a marketing consultant to Digital Equipment Corporation (DecNet) and to
Centel Business Systems and has designed, programmed, and published software for use with
devices using the Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI).
Paul has completed Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) certified
Divemaster training, is an avid photographer, sailor and owner of the S.V.
Sea Q. He holds an Extra Class amateur radio license and is active on the amateur radio bands
using phone, packet and CW modes. Paul is
also a licensed airplane pilot and former owner of Cessna N19997.
